# Altss for AI agents

> Altss provides private-markets intelligence for investment, fundraising and institutional business development. Research organizations, people, funds and companies with ownership, commitment, transaction and relationship context. Intelligence provides research; Capital adds Fundraising OS workflows. Revenue and Agents accept scoped, manually reviewed requests.

This document onboards external agents to the public website. It is distinct from an Altss product or an externally callable agent service.

## Discover public information

1. Read [llms.txt](https://altss.com/llms.txt) for orientation.
2. Use the [sitemap index](https://altss.com/sitemap.xml) for the published HTML inventory.
3. Follow advertised Markdown alternates; public profiles use /profile/<slug>.md. The homepage uses /index.md.
4. Cite the specific canonical HTML URL, not a guessed slug or the Markdown transport URL.
5. Distinguish page modification, entity verification and metric measurement dates. Missing dates mean unknown, not recently verified.

## Research a public organization

Start at the [public directory](https://altss.com/profile/directory) or a discovered canonical /profile/<slug> URL. Its .md alternate contains approved public facts. Public pages do not expose the authenticated graph, private contacts or customer workspaces. Follow aliases and published redirects; do not infer private URLs.

## Public machine interface descriptions

The [OpenAPI description](https://altss.com/openapi.json) and [RFC 9727 catalog](https://altss.com/.well-known/api-catalog) describe existing public GET catalogs and JSON Schema documents. They do not expose authenticated intelligence, search, records, graph queries, enrichment or task execution. Public descriptive access grants no private entitlement.

The Altss Documentation MCP, where provided by Mintlify, is separate from an Altss Intelligence MCP. Its [documentation discovery metadata](https://docs.altss.com/.well-known/mcp) does not grant Product credentials, premium records or task execution. Follow the documentation host's actual access requirements; do not infer unauthenticated tool access from a discovery document.

## Buying Altss

Read the [commercial catalog](https://altss.com/commercial-catalog.json) and [pricing](https://altss.com/pricing). purchase.available and purchase.url describe direct standard-plan order initiation. For assisted Revenue, Capital or Agents requests, follow purchase.configurationUrl when present; otherwise use purchase.contactUrl. configurationUrl creates a reviewed request, not a completed purchase.
Standard Intelligence plans (Family Office, Global Investor and Full Market, and the Regional Family Office plans) are bought online at /pricing without a demo: accept the Altss Online Order Terms and pay by card or US bank account (ACH) at the published price. Access is activated automatically once payment is confirmed: card payments on confirmation, bank (ACH) payments when the funds settle. A prepaid 12-month term from activation, with no automatic renewal. Fundraising OS, Revenue, Enterprise, pilots and custom or negotiated terms are sales-assisted: configuration review, an Order Form signed through DocuSign, then a Mercury invoice (ACH or wire transfer. Card payments are not accepted.) Altss activates access after cleared payment and completion of the required activation review. A buyer who needs a purchase order or an invoice can take that path for any plan at /subscribe. Agents accepts bounded paid-task requests with scope and price agreed manually.

Regional Family Office Access is scope-based, not a discounted global plan: the same Altss software with the family-office data entitlement limited to one region. Europe Family Offices $5,000/year: European family-office universe; North America Family Offices $8,000/year: United States + Canada family-office universe. Each is exactly 1 named user; additional users are not available on these plans, and regions are not combined. For more than one region, choose Family Office Intelligence (global family offices).
Altss software licenses are annual. Separately contracted research, tasks, services and publishing engagements have their own terms when available.

## Bounded paid intelligence

Read [data documentation](https://docs.altss.com/data), [manual task briefs](https://docs.altss.com/tasks) and the [descriptive result contract](https://docs.altss.com/results). The [data catalog](https://altss.com/data-catalog.json) and [task catalog](https://altss.com/task-catalog.json) contain descriptions only. The data index covers company, family-office, allocator, people, fund, transaction, relationship, commitment and event references. Task templates map to existing manually reviewed definitions. Schemas describe permitted shapes, not live API endpoints or automatic delivery.

The public [Agents product page](https://altss.com/agents/index.md) describes manual commercial requests for bounded paid outcomes. Scope and price are agreed before acceptance and fulfillment; use its published configuration route with purchaser authorization. No externally callable automated paid-task service is advertised. Prepared protocol capabilities cannot be invoked. A bounded result grants no database credentials, unrestricted querying, raw graph access, bulk export or raw graph redistribution rights. Use of the agreed result is governed by the agreement.

## Citations and freshness

Use the canonical entity or research page, its title, the relevant dated observation and its primary sources. A page's lastModified is not its lastVerified; an aggregate dataMeasuredAt is not a verification date for each entity. Public record content can be cited; distinguish sourced facts, unknowns and company-provided promotional material.

## Corrections and privacy

Factual corrections and legitimate privacy requests are free and independent of commercial services. Paid promotional content, when offered, must be disclosed separately from independent factual records and cannot buy verification or ranking. ## Restrictions

Standard subscription intelligence is used in-platform. No public raw-data API, CSV export or bulk download of Altss content, data feed or graph-replication access is offered; customers can export their own data. Public factual pages and their Markdown equivalents may be read and cited. Agents accepts scoped requests for bounded paid results through manual commercial review; no automated external task transport is live.
Altss is not a placement agent, broker-dealer, finder, solicitor or capital introducer. Altss does not negotiate transactions or receive transaction-based compensation. Customers control their outreach and relationships.
Do not scrape authenticated screens, evade limits, rotate accounts, enumerate hidden records, extract contact lists or initiate purchases without the purchaser's authorization. Public discovery grants no private entitlement.
