Angel Invest was established in 2018 by Jens Lapinski and Oliver Clasen. Lapinski had served as Managing Director of Techstars Berlin; Clasen already operated HVC Management, the family office that co-founded the firm and continues to oversee its real-estate and philanthropic activities. The firm targets early-stage venture opportunities alongside selected later-stage and complex situations. It maintains exposure to seed, start-up and expansion rounds. Geographic focus centers on Germany and broader Europe. Confirmed holdings include the Rhine-Main Property Portfolio, a mixed-use real-estate asset located in the Rhine-Main metropolitan region. HVC Management acts as the operational partner for non-venture assets and administers the HVC Family Foundation. No headcount or AUM figures have been released. No material operational events have been recorded in the last 24 months. Angel Invest operates through a hybrid structure in which venture decisions sit alongside a family-office real-estate mandate, creating a direct link between liquid venture exposure and illiquid property holdings under shared governance.
