The foundation channels private gifts and community dollars into facilities and programs across the health system's Southern Oregon and Northern California catchment. The foundation's investment footprint blends traditional endowment management with direct real asset ownership. Its balance sheet includes the Asante Foundation Office Complex at 229 N Bartlett Street in Medford, the Asante Court mixed-use development on East Barnett Road, and The Family House in Grants Pass. The endowment, estimated at $188 million (Altss estimate), supports a venture capital allocation alongside community health partnerships. Major donor commitments include a $5 million gift from Mary and Dick Heimann to name a regional cancer center in Medford, and sustained corporate backing from Rogue Credit Union for Children's Miracle Network programs. Asante Health System retains ultimate organizational authority over the foundation as a subordinate entity. The foundation maintains active memberships in The Chamber of Medford & Jackson County and the Children's Miracle Network hospital partnership.
