General Information
The Avaya Inc. Pension Plan for Salaried Employees is a defined benefit pension plan, formerly sponsored by Avaya Inc. Established to provide retirement benefits for salaried employees, the plan was frozen in 2003 and subsequently terminated on November 30, 2017. As of December 15, 2017, its trusteeship was transferred to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), which now manages benefits for its nearly 8,000 participants.
