## About

BioMed Ventures was established in 2010 as the venture investing vehicle attached to BioMed Realty Trust, Inc. The firm sits inside the REIT structure rather than operating as an independent family office or multi-strategy manager. Deployment focuses on venture-stage companies in sectors adjacent to the parent's life-science property portfolio. Capital is deployed directly rather than through fund commitments or club vehicles. Geographic reach centers on North America with primary activity in the United States. No public data exist on team size, additional offices, or assets under management. The firm has not disclosed recent operational events or leadership changes within the last 24 months. Its structural position inside a publicly traded REIT creates a direct link between real-estate ownership and venture exposure that is uncommon among standalone venture managers.
