## Questions

### What type of entity is Duke's Root Control?

Duke's operates as a specialty industrial-service contractor rather than a family office or pooled investment vehicle. It deploys field crews to apply root-control chemicals inside municipal sewer infrastructure under direct contracts with city governments and utility service providers.

### Who runs Duke's Root Control?

The firm does not publicly name its principals, managing directors, or ownership group on its corporate website. No executive bios, investment committee rosters, or succession plans are disclosed.

### How does Duke's generate recurring revenue?

Root intrusion is a biological problem that regenerates inside underground pipes after treatment, creating a maintenance cycle that repeats on multi-year schedules. This biology-driven recurrence, combined with EPA consent decrees that require sewer-system upkeep, produces renewal demand that is largely independent of discretionary municipal capital budgets.

### What is Duke's known posture on geographic expansion?

The firm states that it serves municipalities, agencies, engineering firms, contractors, and utility service providers, but does not itemize specific state footprints, international operations, or expansion plans on its public website.
