Eideard Group was formed in 2006 when Ronald L. Roberts and John P. Aubin renamed their prior vehicle R&A Capital Management. Roberts previously ran Trust Investments from 1985 and Roberts Asset Management from 1995 after earlier roles at Arthur Andersen and State Street. The firm’s client base originated from trust and investment advisory relationships built over decades. Deployment spans early-stage venture, private equity, hedge funds, real estate and philanthropic vehicles. Confirmed positions include board service at G-Form and directed allocations into that company by client entities BDP Holdings and R&A Venture Capital III. Geographic reach covers North America and Asia. The firm also maintains Eideard Venture Capital Funds and White Oak Acorn Properties in Bedford. John P. Aubin remains the sole managing member. The firm employs a controller, assistant controller and senior administrative officer focused on investments. It sponsors a defined-contribution retirement plan for staff. A dated operational event is the January 2025 death of co-founder Ronald L. Roberts.
