Geballe, a Koshland descendant and Yale professor, serves as president and director alongside Alison F. Geballe. The foundation's wealth traces directly to the Koshland branch that helped build Levi Strauss & Co. The foundation allocates across public equities, fixed income, and commingled vehicles. Confirmed holdings include the Vanguard Total Stock Market Fund, Vanguard Short-Term Bond Fund, TIFF Multi-Asset Fund, and iShares MSCI ACWI Low Carbon Fund. The foundation maintains a distinct governance structure through direct Koshland family control and its role as sole owner of Eucalyptus Associates, Inc.
