Gemini's sourcing relies on deep relationships within Israel's technology ecosystem — alumni networks from elite military intelligence units, university research labs, and serial founders from prior portfolio companies. The firm's long tenure in Herzliya gives it access to proprietary early-stage opportunities that newer entrants often miss.

The firm has historically invested in enterprise software, semiconductor and communications systems, cybersecurity, fintech, and digital health. Early fund vintages concentrated on infrastructure and networking hardware; later vintages broadened into software and applied AI.

Gemini was among the earliest venture backers of Mellanox Technologies, a high-performance interconnect company founded in 1999. NVIDIA acquired Mellanox in 2019 for $6.9 billion, marking one of the largest venture-backed exits in Israeli technology history and a defining return for Gemini's early funds.
