Glastad Holding traces its roots to a family shipping business that operated from the early 1800s. Endre Tarald Glastad established the current holding company in 1995. The Mosvold–Glastad lineage supplies the capital that the office now manages across multiple generations. The firm divides operations among Glastad Farsund for real estate, Mosvolds Rederi for shipping and Glastad Capital for seafood and financial investments.
