Gonville and Caius College was founded in 1348 by Edmund Gonville and refounded in 1557 by John Caius. It operates as a constituent college of the University of Cambridge with its own registered charity status. The endowment maintains direct ownership of multiple Cambridge properties including Old Courts, Harvey Court, St Michael's Court and various residential portfolios on Harvey Road, Mortimer Road and Green Street.
