Hall Capital traces its roots to the Hall family, whose wealth originated with Fred Jones automotive businesses. Fred J. Hall, grandson of Fred Jones, founded the office to oversee that capital across generations. The structure remains a single-family office even after the 2024 transaction with Pathstone. The office deploys capital through direct co-investments, SPVs, private equity, real estate, infrastructure and natural resources. Confirmed holdings include the Fordson Hotel in Oklahoma City, The Jones Assembly, West Village Apartments, East Wharf on Lake Hefner, and multiple commercial properties in Nashville and Dallas. Geographic reach covers North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Investment stages center on buyout and growth opportunities. Pathstone acquired Hall Capital Partners LLC in October 2024. The transaction brought the office under a larger advisory platform while the three Hall principals retained their titles. Additional assets under oversight include Hall Energy oil and gas holdings and the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art collection. The family maintains memberships in the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber, YPO and the Petroleum Club of Oklahoma City. The acquisition supplies access to Pathstone's manager network and operational infrastructure while preserving direct family control over investment decisions and philanthropic vehicles such as the Fred Jones Family Foundation.
