Kapil Nanda established Kapital Partners in 2017. The office manages capital generated by the 2021 sale of Infogain Corporation to Apax Partners at a $900M valuation. Nanda had founded Infogain in 1990 after earlier engineering roles at Intel and Altos Computers. The office allocates across real estate, hospitality, private equity and venture capital. It executes direct investments and co-investments alongside partners. Confirmed holdings include the Best Western Plus Rialto, Marriott hotels in Moreno Valley, Palmdale and Palm Desert, mixed-use projects at 2655 The Alameda and Washington Street in Santa Clara, and residential portfolios in California and New York City. Investments reach Seed and Venture stages in North America. Kapital Partners reports more than a dozen hotels and over 100 residential units under management. The team includes three named partners. Kapil Nanda serves as a trustee of Santa Clara University. Anjuli Nanda Habbas previously practiced at Wilson Sonsini. Nickhil Bhave leads venture and private capital efforts while serving as CEO of SERV. The office maintains a hybrid mandate that combines operating real-estate assets with technology venture commitments. This structure allows the family to retain control over both income-producing properties and early-stage equity positions without reliance on external fund vehicles.
