The McPherson College Endowment, officially named the Ward-Burkholder Endowment, is the financial fund supporting McPherson College, a private liberal arts institution in Kansas. In 2023, a historic $1 billion commitment from an anonymous donor, combined with other contributions, increased the endowment to $1.592 billion, making it the largest among small liberal arts colleges in the United States. The endowment was named in honor of late alumni and professors, Drs. John Ward and John Burkholder.
