Co-founder and Managing Partner Brij Sharma leads the firm and sits on the investment committee. Operating Partner Bob Carlin, a former CEO at EDG Partners portfolio company Peak Risk Adjustment Services, is responsible for all financial and operational functions and also serves on the committee. Advisor Chris Huber, who previously operated the private-equity arm of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kansas City, joins as an independent member.

NTV states publicly that strong management teams are a prerequisite for any company's success, favoring experienced entrepreneurs who have launched successful businesses before. The firm expects founders to demonstrate deep understanding of company finances, know how to use sales and marketing teams to generate growth, and grasp the inner workings of the business beyond product.

The firm believes that industries such as healthcare, insurance, pharmaceuticals and financial services suffer from legacy infrastructure and manual processes that create structural demand for modernization. Regulatory mandates also force companies to improve data access, transparency and reporting, which NTV views as a tailwind for SaaS tools that streamline compliance. The cost of non-compliance in these sectors turns regulation into a recurring budget item rather than a discretionary spend.

NTV operates three named funds — NTV Fund I, NTV Frontier Fund and NTV Prosperity Fund — and is primarily a direct investor in seed and Series A rounds. It has not publicly marketed a fund-of-funds allocation or a commitment strategy into external managers.

Operating Partner Bob Carlin and Financial Controller Bill Carlin provide fractional CFO-level support directly to portfolio companies, advising on back-office accounting, payroll, audit preparation and credit facilities. This embedded model favors founders who will accept hands-on financial oversight in exchange for operational discipline aimed at reaching profitability without relying on continuous venture funding.
