Numeral automates the end-to-end sales tax lifecycle for e-commerce sellers and SaaS platforms: monitoring economic nexus thresholds across US states, registering in new jurisdictions, calculating tax at checkout, and filing returns. The product specifically targets the obligations triggered by the 2018 South Dakota v. Wayfair Supreme Court decision, which expanded states' authority to tax remote sellers (per public record).

Insight Partners led Numeral's Series A and has supported the firm since its accelerator program. Numeral runs an event-driven architecture, meaning tax obligation calculations trigger on transaction signals rather than periodic batch runs — narrowing the window of non-compliance risk.
