The firm publicly states three focus areas: sustainable transport, green energy, and digital solutions. Within those, it names ports, railways, logistics terminals, electric-vehicle charging infrastructure, energy storage, solar energy, LoRaWAN networks, open-access 5G, and fiber as investable sub-sectors.

The firm is headquartered in Stockholm and its disclosed operations center on Sweden, but its website describes a vision of shaping global infrastructure. Its portfolio company Netmore operates LoRaWAN networks across Europe, suggesting that Polar Structure's geographic ambitions extend beyond its home market.
