Its only requirements are that the company have an immediate go-to-market strategy and technology that creates meaningful barriers to entry or significant competitive advantages. Confirmed portfolio exposure includes AI, enterprise software, and sectors aligned with frequent co-investor GoHub Ventures' focus areas.

R2 Seed operates like a formalized super angel syndicate with permanent capital rather than a fund that must periodically raise capital. Its deal flow is fed by the Realiza Business Angels network, and its management is outsourced to Keith Ventures. This hybrid structure allows it to avoid the fundraising cycle constraints typical of early-stage VC firms while maintaining a disciplined, operationally intensive approach to portfolio management.
