Founder and President Katsuhito Manabe leads the firm. A former investment banker at Lehman Brothers and Barclays, he is also Chairman of REASP and a director at FOURE, two industry bodies focused on renewable integration and regional revitalization in Japan.

The firm originates greenfield projects internally across solar, wind, and hydro, then develops them through to operation. It also acquires assets and co-develops with regional partners such as Tohoku Bank, which jointly invests in local renewable energy companies.

Tokyu Land Corporation holds 83.78% following a take-private transaction. ENEOS Corporation and Kansai Electric Power are capital and business alliance partners, giving the firm a utility-and-real-estate-backed balance sheet while retaining its independent development DNA.

It is a developer-owner-operator. The firm builds and holds assets long-term, operating solar, wind, hydro, and battery storage plants through its asset-management and O&M arms. It also sells completed projects and offers a one-stop procurement service for corporate buyers.

Japan is the core market, with named projects in Niigata and Iwate prefectures. The firm also owns and operates assets in Spain, including the Socovos Power Plant and the Valdecarretas Photovoltaic Solar Park.

The firm uses project-level SPVs funded by strategic shareholders and co-investors. A disclosed vehicle, the Renewable Japan Portfolio Private Fund, sits alongside direct ownership structures. Strategic capital from Tokyu Land, ENEOS, and KEPCO replaces the need for a conventional fundraise cycle.

Manabe's leadership in FOURE and REASP embeds regional revitalization into deal selection. Projects are structured to share economic benefits with host municipalities, fitting Japan's policy push for locally accepted renewable deployment — a differentiator when competing for land and grid access in constrained markets.
