TCDS relies heavily on the Patel family's network, including Tushar Patel's long-standing membership in YPO and direct relationships with other India-focused family offices. Co-investment vehicles like TIGA (India) LP serve as regular deal partners, creating a proprietary origination channel outside the institutional venture capital circuit. The Tarsadia Foundation's partnership with Dasra further deepens the family's connectivity within India's entrepreneurial and philanthropic communities.

TCDS India is the India-focused direct investment arm of the broader Tarsadia group, which was founded by Tushar Patel. Tarsadia historically operated large US commercial real estate and hospitality holdings, including the Tarsadia Hotels portfolio and a stake in Sunstone Hotel Investors. TCDS India channels some of the proceeds from those exits into Indian venture, private credit, and commodities investments.

TCDS pursues a generalist mandate spanning early-stage venture, private credit, and physical commodities. Venture investments focus on Indian startups across fintech, enterprise software, and consumer technology. The credit exposure flows through Interharbour Private Credit, and commodities exposure runs through Metallica Commodities Corp.

The Tarsadia Foundation, led by Maya Patel, operates separately from TCDS India's commercial investing. However, its philanthropic partnership with Dasra on the Rebuild India Fund strengthens the family's on-the-ground relationships and local intelligence network — an indirect but meaningful advantage for deal origination.
