Telemos Capital was established in 2017 by Philippe Jacobs. The firm manages the fortune generated by the family’s prior ownership in Jacobs Suchard and Barry Callebaut. Nicolas Jacobs serves as co-chairman alongside Philippe. The structure remains a single-family office with no external capital. The office pursues buyouts and growth investments in European companies. It also maintains exposure to North American opportunities through co-investments. Asset classes include direct private equity, select public-to-private transactions and secondaries. Confirmed holdings and co-investor relationships span healthcare services platforms, enterprise software businesses and consumer technology companies. Capital is deployed via SPVs and direct control stakes rather than broad fund-of-funds allocations. The team operates from London with an additional presence in Zurich through Jacobs Holding AG. The 2025 merger of Telemos with Jacobs Holding AG consolidated family investment activities under one operating entity. Adjacent vehicles include the Jacobs Foundation and the Jacobs Futura Foundation. No public disclosure of headcount exists. Telemos maintains a closed architecture limited to Jacobs family capital. This structure removes LP reporting cycles and allows extended hold periods. Governance flows through the two co-chairmen and the CEO of Jacobs Capital, Jacob Polny. The model prioritizes operational involvement over passive allocations.
