Tera targets pre-seed and seed as its entry point, with initial checks sized for first-institutional-round economics. It reserves for follow-on deployment up to Series A, occasionally participating alongside international co-investors. The firm does not write Pre-Series B or growth-stage checks.

Tera avoids deep-tech hardware, life sciences that require FDA-level regulatory cycles, and clean energy infrastructure. Its competence set and check sizes map to capital-efficient digital businesses in enterprise software, fintech, applied AI, cybersecurity, and digital health.

The firm is not formally affiliated with Estonia's e-residency program but benefits from it indirectly. Portfolio companies incorporated in Estonia can access EU market licensing and banking rails through the country's digital infrastructure. This regulatory advantage is a recurring underwriting factor the firm emphasizes internally.
