Graeme and Leanne Carling established The Carling Group in 2017. Their wealth originated in Scottish residential property through Carling Property Group before the office expanded into private equity and infrastructure. The firm maintains residences in London, Dubai, Edinburgh, Malaga and Dubai as part of its operational footprint. The Carling Group targets buyouts and growth investments in fragmented sectors. It deploys capital via direct co-investments and SPVs into HVAC, MEP, renewables, healthcare services and industrial tech. Confirmed activity includes the July 2025 sale of Saltire Facilities Management to Daikin Industries and a June 2025 joint venture with a US HVAC platform. Geographic reach covers Europe, the Middle East and North America, with primary deployment currently concentrated on US roll-ups. The office also maintains exposure to AI/ML through its internal AURA platform. No public headcount or AUM figures exist. The firm operates additional vehicles including AURA in Dubai and maintains philanthropic relationships with Breakthrough T1D and Caudwell Children. In July 2025 the group completed the sale of Saltire Facilities Management to Daikin Industries, illustrating its exit-oriented approach. It holds club ties through Graeme Carling’s prior role at Lochee United FC until 2022. The Carling Group’s structure integrates a proprietary intelligence and governance system called AURA that links operational decision-making directly to investment execution. This hybrid model differs from conventional family offices by embedding real-time performance tracking inside acquisition platforms rather than relying solely on external managers or separate advisory layers.
