United Way of Southeast Louisiana is a New Orleans-based endowment and foundation with $25 million in AUM, operating as an institutional investor focused on community mobilization within the nonprofit sector. The organization deploys resources across multiple program areas including early literacy (Dolly Parton's Imagination Library), emergency food and shelter, free tax assistance via VITA, mental health (N.O. Mental Health Collaborative), youth development (Youth Investments), and small business support (Thriving African-American Small Business Initiative). Its strategy is guided by a Blueprint for Prosperity framework and an ALICE Prosperity Dashboard, targeting Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed populations across Southeast Louisiana.
