The Altss data platform
Altss is built on two core datasets that define private markets fundraising: limited partners (who allocates capital) and general partners (who deploys it). Every entity is sourced through OSINT pipelines, verified on a continuous cycle, and enriched with real-time signals legacy databases can't deliver.

Core datasets
Limited partners and allocators
150,000+ institutional LP entities, 9,000+ family offices, 1,400+ U.S. public pensions, 180+ sovereign wealth funds, 2,800+ insurance LPs, 1,800+ corporate venture arms — plus mandate tracking, commitment pacing, and re-up windows.
General partners
40,000+ GPs across PE, VC, credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, natural resources, and secondaries. Strategy, stage, AUM, vintage tagging, fund status tracking, and emerging manager identification.
People across the ecosystem
Decision-makers at LPs (CIOs, IR leads, investment committees), investment professionals at GPs, family office principals and investment directors, board trustees and advisors — with role history and transition tracking.
RIA channel data
17,000+ registered investment advisors with 13F holdings, advisor team composition, AUM trends, and wealth-channel distribution intelligence for alternative products.
How Altss sources data
OSINT-first methodology. Altss is built on open-source intelligence pipelines — regulatory filings (Form ADV, Form D, Form PF, 13F), public disclosures, public pension meeting minutes, press monitoring, domain and infrastructure signals, and personnel intelligence. Fundamentally different from legacy databases that rely on survey submissions or analyst phone calls.
Continuous verification. Contact data is re-verified on a 30-day cycle. Entity records are re-audited on a rolling basis. Mandate and signal data updates continuously rather than on batched quarterly schedules.
Human validation layer. OSINT output is validated by the Altss research team. The combination of AI-driven ingestion and expert human review delivers accuracy levels that pure-automation or pure-human processes can't match individually.
Data access: in-platform only
Altss is in-platform only. No bulk export. No CSV dumps. No third-party CRM integrations.
This is a deliberate product choice, not a limitation. When 40 funds export the same LP contact list, reply rates collapse for everyone. By keeping data in-platform, Altss protects dataset integrity — your outreach lands better because you're not sending the same contact list as every other GP in the market. This anti-saturation design is one of the reasons Altss contact deliverability outperforms legacy databases.
