Altss is an in-platform intelligence system — not a data feed, not a CSV export tool, not a CRM integration. Everything lives inside Altss: your searches, your lists, your notes, your workflow. A deliberate product choice that protects the data and delivers industry-leading deliverability.

Why in-platform only

When 40 firms export the same LP contact list from the same database, reply rates collapse for everyone. Every user of every legacy LP database is currently experiencing this problem — the more the database is used as a contact source, the less effective each individual user's outreach becomes.

Altss is built around a different premise: the data is more valuable when it stays inside the platform. Contacts don't leak into shared prospecting tools. Outreach happens from verified, current records inside Altss. Users don't collectively flood the market with identical cold emails from identical contact lists.

This is why Altss users report consistently higher contact deliverability and meaningfully higher reply rates than users of export-enabled databases.

Native Altss CRM (in development)

Altss-native CRM for relationship tracking is actively in development. v0 AI outreach is already live inside the platform for warm-path orchestration and sequenced follow-ups.

What doesn't exist

No CSV export.

Data does not leave the platform in bulk. This is intentional — see 'Why in-platform only' above.

No CRM integrations.

No Salesforce, HubSpot, DealCloud, Affinity, or other CRM sync. Relationship tracking and deal progression live in your CRM; intelligence lives in Altss.

No API for external data consumption.

Altss is not a data feed for programmatic use. Enterprise API discussions on a case-by-case basis where there's legitimate operational need.

No bulk contact downloads.

Contacts are discoverable and usable in-platform; they're not extractable for off-platform use.

Desktop. Primary access is through the web platform optimized for desktop analyst and IR workflows.

In-platform search and AI. Natural-language query support with AI-assisted search. Ask 'which family offices in Miami backed Fund I healthcare managers' and the platform returns a filtered, sourced answer rather than raw keyword matches.

Frequently asked questions

Why don't you offer CRM integrations?
Because integration enables export, export enables saturation, saturation destroys deliverability for all users. Altss's native CRM is in development; v0 AI outreach is already live. Our product design protects the data rather than commoditizing it.
What if our firm requires CRM sync?
Altss is not currently the right fit. Preqin, PitchBook, FINTRX, and Dakota all offer CRM integrations. Many firms use Altss alongside an export-enabled database for different workflows — intelligence and signal work in Altss, bulk sync to CRM from another source.
Do you have plans to add export in the future?
Not currently. We review this periodically but our data quality depends on export restrictions, so we are unlikely to change this core design.
Can I access Altss offline?
No. Real-time signal intelligence requires platform connection.
How do users share findings with colleagues?
In-platform sharing and team workspaces. Enterprise clients have additional sharing configurations.
Is there a mobile app?
Responsive mobile web access. No dedicated mobile app at this time.
