Cookie Policy

This policy describes cookies, browser storage and similar technologies used by ALTSS LLC on its public website. The Privacy Policy covers personal information, including the separate App and Console services. Technologies used in authenticated products may differ.

1. Current website controls

Optional Microsoft Bing Universal Event Tracking (UET) advertising is disabled. Vercel Speed Insights performance telemetry and automatic first-touch marketing-attribution storage are also disabled, under separate launch holds. The website does not load their optional scripts or queue Bing advertising events. No cookie acceptance, old browser preference, absence of GPC/DNT, or payment enables those features. We will verify the necessary controls before enabling an optional category.

Bing UET was previously used for advertising/conversion measurement. Vercel Speed Insights measures page performance and is distinct from advertising. Earlier pages or visits may have left vendor or first-party storage. Disabling a tag stops new use by this release; it does not claim to erase vendor-held historical records or every item already stored in a browser.

2. Storage used for requested features

  • Theme — Altss: altss-brand-theme in local storage remembers a theme you select. The website gives it no automatic expiry; it remains until changed, cleared by you or removed by the browser.
  • Checkout and order access — Altss: altss-order-capability, altss-pending-order, altss-pending-checkout, altss-checkout-resume and altss-checkout-emerging use session storage for a requested order, safe retry or private order access. These normally last for the tab session; some are removed on successful use or a relevant state change. Browser session restoration can retain session storage.
  • Remembered order — Altss: altss-last-order in local storage supports reopening your order. It has no automatic browser-storage expiry in the current code. The order screen’s forget action or clearing site data removes the local entry; server-side authorization and retention are separate.
  • Public synthetic preview — Altss: altss-public-preview-v1 stores your selected synthetic scenario/shortlist for the tab session. Related session flags prevent repeated local interaction events. This does not unlock paid intelligence.
  • Earlier attribution entries: altss-landing and altss-commercial-source were used for first-touch/referral context in session storage. Automatic collection is disabled in this release. Existing tab entries may remain until the tab session ends or site storage is cleared.

3. Providers and third-party requests

Website information does not stay exclusively in Altss-owned systems. Vercel delivers the website, AWS supports application services, and Sanity supplies public content/media. These services receive technical request information needed to deliver and protect the requested resource. A network request is not necessarily a cookie, and a cookie is not necessarily advertising.

When you use checkout, Stripe’s payment interface can use cookies or similar storage for payment and fraud prevention. When you request scheduling, Cal.com’s embedded calendar receives booking and technical information and may use its own storage. Those interfaces have their own provider controls. Their actual cookie sets and lifetimes can vary with the feature, browser and provider configuration; we do not assign unverified fixed lifetimes to them. See Stripe’s cookie information and Cal.com’s privacy information. These providers are not enabled as general website advertising tags.

The current website does not include Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics or session-replay tags. Google Search Console domain verification does not require an on-page tracking tag. Local, allowlisted interface events used for quality checks are not sent to Bing while advertising is disabled.

4. Your choices

You can clear cookies and local/session storage using your browser’s site-data settings. Blocking storage may prevent order recovery or remembering a selected feature. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control do not enable any optional tracking; advertising remains disabled whether a signal is present or absent. Absence of a signal is not consent. There is no active optional-advertising acceptance to withdraw on this release.

Browser/device preferences, advertising choices and restrictions on selling an intelligence record are distinct. An anonymous browser does not identify every record about you. 5. Versions

This revision replaces inaccurate statements about exclusive internal storage, absence of third parties and DNT behavior. Read the June 12, 2025 historical policy. Historical text describes an earlier notice and is not the current statement of website behavior.
