Exor Seeds

Exor Seeds is a fully owned venture investment vehicle of Exor N.V., the publicly traded holding company controlled by the Agnelli family. Exor N.V., chaired by John Elkann, holds controlling stakes in Ferrari, Stellantis, and CNH Industrial. Exor Seeds was created in 2018 to invest the family's balance-sheet capital directly into early-stage technology companies, distinct from the industrial holdings.

Exor Seeds primarily makes direct investments. However, Exor N.V. has historically participated in external venture funds, including a $300 million commitment to Vision Fund II (per SoftBank, 2019). The Seed vehicle itself is configured for direct company stakes.

Exor Seeds targets early-stage to growth-stage rounds with check sizes typically between $10 million and $100 million. The firm prefers concentrated positions in rounds led by established venture investors, taking meaningful minority stakes and often reserving capital for follow-on rounds.

The firm's publicly stated interests span enterprise software, artificial intelligence, mobility, healthcare, fintech, and media infrastructure. Investments such as Waymo, Via Transportation, and Casavo reflect a particular concentration on capital-heavy technology platforms where Exor's industrial heritage and long time horizon provide a differentiated advantage.

Noam Ohana serves as Head of Exor Seeds, overseeing the investment team and day-to-day operations. John Elkann, as Chairman and CEO of Exor N.V., is closely involved in major capital allocation decisions and portfolio strategy, reflecting the firm's concentrated and conviction-led approach.
