Puerto Asís Investments was founded in 2008 by the Román family. Alfredo Román built the underlying wealth through logistics and port ventures including CSM and ITL. Karina Román serves as chair and directs family business strategy alongside second-generation directors Silvina Román and Gabriel Román. The office pursues a diversified strategy that spans Supply Chain & Logistics, Energy Transition & Renewables, and Healthcare Services. It allocates across Angel and Growth stages through direct co-investments, SPVs, fund-of-funds vehicles, infrastructure, and natural resources. Confirmed positions include agribusiness holdings and real-asset interests in Argentina. Footprint covers South America as the core base with allocations extending into North America and the Caribbean. The team includes Milton Hahn as Head of Investments and Fabiana Oliver as Head of Impact & Sustainability.
