The firm targets economic infrastructure assets across power generation and renewables, midstream energy infrastructure, transport assets including toll roads and ports, and digital infrastructure covering terrestrial fiber networks and data centers. The strategy favors operating assets with long-dated, inflation-linked cash flows rather than greenfield development projects.

The portfolio is concentrated in South Africa and the Southern African Development Community region, including countries such as Namibia, Botswana, and Mozambique. The firm has also made selective investments in East Africa and West Africa, though South Africa remains the anchor geography for deal flow.

The firm is an investment affiliate within Old Mutual Alternative Investments, the private markets division of Old Mutual Limited, a financial services group listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. It retains its own dedicated investment team, investment committee, and fund structures while benefiting from the operational infrastructure of a large regulated asset manager.
