ADG formed in 2016 through the merger of two industry-leading interior-finish installers, establishing a Dallas-area headquarters in Coppell, Texas. The firm operates with a corporate address in Mooresville, North Carolina, and runs more than 150 distribution, design, and service facilities nationwide. ADG designs, procures, and installs flooring, cabinets, and countertops for single-family and multi-family residential developers and commercial construction companies. Its consolidation strategy spans more than 20 acquired businesses, each a regional market leader folded into a unified national procurement and installation network. The firm serves property managers and commercial builders and maintains a Lowe's supply-chain integration—its president previously led the Lowe's Integration Management Office. More than 3,000 employees and an additional 3,000 independent contractors operate across 25 states. In July 2025, Ram Krishnamurthy was named President after overseeing the ADG strategic roadmap within Lowe's. The executive team includes senior vice presidents for single-family operations and for procurement and sourcing. The firm differs structurally from a private equity-backed aggregator in its deep operational link to a major home-improvement retailer's supply chain, which gives its fulfillment network a built-in demand pipeline absent from its smaller, independent competitors.
