The company's European footprint expanded significantly through acquisitions in Italy, Germany, and Switzerland, while its Asian presence supports both regional clients and cost-competitive manufacturing for global programs.

ATS serves electric-vehicle manufacturers through its transportation segment, providing automated assembly and test systems for battery modules, power electronics, and electric powertrains. The acquisition of NWL, a German specialist in e-mobility assembly automation, strengthened the firm's capability to bid for large-scale EV production programs alongside its legacy internal-combustion-engine and tier-one automotive business.
