The firm’s origins and core identity are rooted in serving the North Sea offshore energy supply chain. Balmoral’s primary revenue lines include Balmoral Comtec, which supplies polymer-based buoyancy, insulation, and protection products for offshore energy installations, and Balmoral Tanks, which manufactures sectional and cylindrical storage systems for water, wastewater, and processing applications. The tank division operates from facilities in Thurnscoe and Croydon in England and Llantrisant in Wales, reflecting a UK-wide manufacturing footprint. The group also operates Blaze Manufacturing Solutions, a specialist in fire safety, detection, and loss prevention systems, which extends its reach into the broader energy and safety sectors. On the property side, Balmoral Business Park in Aberdeen provides commercial lettings, while the Marcliffe Hotel and Spa adds a luxury hospitality operation directly owned and run by the group.
