In the case of subsidiary Sensei Biotherapeutics, Cambrian was the majority shareholder before Sensei pursued a public listing via SPAC merger, which introduced external public-market investors.

Sensei Biotherapeutics was incubated as a Cambrian subsidiary, focused on immunotherapies that leverage bacteriophage technology to target cancer. Cambrian maintained majority ownership through Sensei's development and eventual public listing. Sensei's 2021 SPAC merger with PAVmed gave Cambrian a liquidity path without requiring the parent company to file its own IPO.
