Ariel Assaraf and Yoni Farin founded Coralogix in 2014 to solve a problem Assaraf experienced firsthand: four years of wrestling with slow, costly log analytics. The company initially focused on simplifying log management, but it has since expanded into a full-stack observability platform. The platform’s approach is built on streaming data ingestion rather than indexing. Its Streama engine and DataPrime proprietary query language allow customers to avoid data sampling, retain petabytes of data in their own cloud storage, and query across logs, metrics, and traces using a unified syntax. It has also introduced an AI Center that provides observability specifically for AI agents, including performance monitoring, cost tracking, security, and guardrails. The leadership team extends beyond the co-founders to include Chief Revenue Officer Chetan Chaudhary, formerly of prominent technology firms; CFO Eran Kirshenboim, who spent nearly a decade at Kaltura; and CMO Brian Mullen, a former Twilio and InfluxData executive. Coralogix runs 24/7 live support with a sub-30-second response time and counts over 300 integrations with platforms like AWS, Azure, and Terraform. Coralogix’s structure is built on a proprietary in-stream analytics pipeline that processes data before indexing, which fundamentally distinguishes its cost model from peers that index everything at ingest. The firm also offers a TCO Cost Optimizer that routes critical logs to immediate analysis while sending low-value data directly to cheaper cloud storage, and it stores all data in open formats to prevent vendor lock-in. This architecture, combined with native OpenTelemetry support and built-in enterprise features like RBAC and SSO, effectively embeds enterprise controls across an unlimited-user licensing model.
