Crescent Enterprises was established in 2007 as the investment and operating arm of the Crescent Group founded by Hamid Jafar. Badr Jafar serves as CEO while his brother Majid Jafar leads Crescent Petroleum. The firm’s wealth traces to oil-and-gas interests that later diversified into logistics, engineering and technology holdings. CE-Operates controls 100 percent of Gulftainer and owns Momentum Logistics and Uruk Engineering & Contracting. CE-Invests deploys into private equity and real-estate vehicles such as the FIM-IBC MENA Real Estate Opportunities Fund. CE-Ventures takes minority positions in startups including Kitopi, Plaid, Crusoe AI and EndoQuest Robotics. CE-Creates launches operating businesses such as Kava & Chai and ION.
