Eximius is built on Pearl Agarwal’s proprietary network from DotReview, a founder-support platform that gave her direct access to over 1,000 early-stage entrepreneurs before the fund launched. The firm also runs a Student Venture Partner Program, publishes India’s first Pre-Seed Investment Playbook, and maintains a venture-partner network of seasoned operators — creating multiple top-of-funnel channels purpose-built for the idea-stage thesis.

Eximius is explicitly sector-differentiated. The firm invests only in three areas: FinTech, AI/SaaS, and Consumer AI. Agarwal has publicly stated that Eximius targets sectors worth trillions of dollars, and the firm avoids diluting its pattern recognition by straying outside these verticals.

Eximius positions itself as a dedicated pre-seed fund. While the firm supports portfolio companies through graduation into later rounds — often via introductions to later-stage co-investors — its mandate is to write the first institutional cheque, not to lead or price Series A and beyond.
