Feather Invest operates as an integrated merchant bank, not a traditional fund manager. It offers eight distinct funding products across private credit and private equity — including stock and bond loans, receivable finance, revenue-based loans, and SBLC-backed facilities — alongside ancillary services such as forex, securities lending, and commodities brokerage. This structure allows the firm to deploy its own balance-sheet capital while earning fee income from transaction services, a model more closely resembling a Gulf-family-office trading desk than a Western private equity firm.

The firm runs three primary offices — London, Dubai, and Singapore — and lists a global senior team with deal-making experience in Africa, the GCC, Turkey, Southeast Asia, and Europe. Founder Wael Khattab built his prior track record across Africa, the Gulf Region, Turkey, and Southeast Asia, while Director Elizabeth Tan's operating and investing background is anchored in Singapore and Southeast Asia. The London office, established in 2021, extends the firm's reach into European private debt and equity opportunities.

Grant Johnson serves as an Executive Director and leads the private equity and venture capital portfolio. His disclosed investments span consumer brands (Athletic Brewing, Chamberlain Coffee), wearable technology (Oura Ring), private aviation (FlyHouse), SaaS (Carbon6), and media (Bingeable). Johnson is also a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and a graduate of Brown University, currently completing the President's Program at Harvard Business School.
