Co-Founder and Managing Director Alberto Yépez leads the investment strategy alongside Co-Founder and Senior Advisor Don Dixon. The investment team includes Managing Directors Andrew McClure, Ernie Bio, and Leo Casusol. Damien Henault oversees the firm's international investment activities as Managing Director of Forgepoint Capital International.

Forgepoint relies on a thesis-driven approach and an expert community of more than 100 industry advisors — including former CISOs from major enterprises, former NSA directors, and senior government officials. This network provides early visibility into emerging security challenges and access to founders before they enter formal fundraising processes.

Forgepoint Capital operates as a traditional multi-stage venture capital firm, not a family office. It raises external capital and manages over $1B in assets. However, its embedded advisory council and internal research publications like Margin of Safety and TIPS give it some structural qualities of a specialist advisory firm.

Forgepoint invests exclusively within cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and infrastructure software. The firm does not target consumer internet, general fintech, life sciences, or industrial technology outside of digital security applications. Its investment themes tightly bound its mandate to digital trust and infrastructure protection.

The firm operates a dedicated international group called Forgepoint Capital International, led by Managing Director Damien Henault. The team has its own Chief Financial Officer, Jaime Goyarrola. This structure allows the firm to pursue cybersecurity investments in Europe and other non-US markets with local underwriting and operational support.
