Patricia Pastor and Chris Gottschalk serve as General Partners leading investment decisions at GoHub Ventures. They built the firm inside Global Omnium's innovation division and maintain final authority over capital deployment. No formal investment committee membership beyond the two GPs has been disclosed publicly.

GoHub Ventures occupies a hybrid space. It invests capital from Global Omnium, a water utility historically controlled by the Calabuig family, but operates as an independent venture entity making third-party startup investments rather than acquiring strategic suppliers for the parent company. Its governance and sourcing are closer to an institutionally minded multi-family office than a classic corporate strategic VC.

The firm's capital is anchored by Global Omnium, a Valencia-based water utility founded by the Calabuig family and now part of the broader Agbar/Veolia industrial ecosystem. GoHub invests on behalf of the utility's balance sheet and its shareholders, rather than pooling external limited partners.

The firm invests from pre-seed through Series A, with initial checks typically below €1 million and follow-on capacity for later rounds. It acts primarily as a co-investor alongside other institutional VCs rather than leading rounds or controlling deals.

GoHub does not invest in consumer-focused apps, pure-play biotech, or companies whose business models do not intersect with industrial infrastructure, energy, water, or logistics networks. The firm has no publicly stated interest in financial services or media technology.
