This technical embeddedness gives Hashed access to pre-announcement rounds that external allocators rarely see.

Hashed predominantly makes direct venture equity and token investments, leading rounds in blockchain startups at seed and Series A stages. The firm is not known for acting as a limited partner in external venture funds. Its capital is deployed through a main fund vehicle and a liquid token treasury that holds network-native assets.

Hashed focuses on early-stage venture, targeting seed and Series A rounds in infrastructure protocols, decentralized finance, gaming, and NFT projects. The firm has participated in growth-stage rounds for breakout portfolio companies but its core competency is identifying technical teams before product-market fit.

Hashed opened a Singapore office in April 2024 to expand capital and talent sourcing across Southeast Asia. The move reflects a broader thesis that blockchain development is dispersing beyond traditional tech hubs, and Singapore offers regulatory clarity and institutional access that complement Hashed's Seoul-based technical core.

Hashed was an early and significant backer of Terraform Labs, the company behind the Terra blockchain and its algorithmic stablecoin UST. The 2022 Terra collapse materially affected Hashed's portfolio, and its partners publicly acknowledged the impact on the firm's liquid treasury and fund valuations. Hashed has since maintained an active investment pace, with its post-Terra deployment concentrated on infrastructure and gaming verticals.

Hashed Open Research is a separate unit dedicated to on-chain governance, mechanism design, and protocol economics. It operates alongside the core venture activity but serves a research function rather than a philanthropic one. The firm has not publicly disclosed a charitable foundation.
