The US GP operates as a domestic investment engine within a single global partnership. Investment decisions run through a shared investment committee that includes Barend Van den Brande, Firat Ileri, and Pablo Garay. The US entity does not raise separate blind-pool funds but deploys capital through the parent firm's balance sheet and co-investment syndicates that include US-based institutional LPs.

The firm has not issued a formal public statement narrowing or expanding its crypto thesis. However, Hummingbird's continued portfolio monitoring and the absence of new publicly-disclosed crypto positions since Kraken suggest the partnership's attention has shifted toward applied AI and infrastructure software in the North American market.
