Kumpulan Modal Perdana (KMP) is a technology venture capital firm wholly owned by the Minister of Finance (Incorporated) and under the purview of the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (MOSTI). It is set up as a two-way channel for Malaysian companies and investors to tap into international resources and vice-versa, going beyond mere financing. KMP is mandated to focus on technology development in support of the Government’s Malaysia Plan and invests time, expertise, and network in its portfolio companies.
