Lawrenceville School Endowment

The Lawrenceville School was established in 1810 and acquired its current name in 1883 through the John Cleve Green Foundation. That foundation supplied the initial endowment that continues to underwrite scholarships and operations. The endowment holds positions in real estate through direct campus ownership and the 30-acre solar farm completed to meet nearly all electricity needs. It commits as a limited partner to funds managed by TA Associates Management, Patron Capital Advisers, Advent Venture Partners, Polaris Partners, and Mayfair Equity Partners III. Additional holdings include Black Stone Minerals Company and Blenheim Global Markets Fund. Geographic exposure spans the United States and United Kingdom. Employee count stands at 117. The school maintains memberships in the Eight Schools Association and Ten Schools Admission Organization. In June 2023 the institution launched the Emerge Transformed campaign to raise funds for scholarship aid, faculty support, and campus improvements.
