Meenakshi Group

Meenakshi Multiples is the group's venture capital vehicle, launched in 2019 to back early-stage startups in India. It operates alongside the group's core real estate, power, and infrastructure subsidiaries. The first publicly disclosed investment from this fund was in Ikeva, a co-working startup.

The group has commissioned two run-of-river small hydroelectric projects in Odisha — Middle Kolab (25 MW) and Lower Kolab (12 MW) — both focused on clean energy generation. It has also developed a thermal power project in Krishnapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The power division handles development, operation, and maintenance in-house.

The group operates through at least three core subsidiaries: Meenakshi Infrastructures Pvt. Ltd. (registered 2004), Malaxmi Highway Pvt. Ltd. (registered 2006), and Meenakshi Power Pvt. Ltd. (incorporated 1999). Each entity focuses on a distinct vertical — commercial and residential property, civil infrastructure, and power generation, respectively.

Outside of its own venture capital fund, Meenakshi Multiples, the group has not disclosed any limited partner commitments to external funds. Its traditional businesses operate through direct development, construction, and operation of physical assets.

The firm does not publicly name its investment committee or key investment principals. Operational leadership across the subsidiaries has not been disclosed on the group website or through other public filings. This opacity is common among privately held Indian family conglomerates.
