Noon's origination is led by founding partner Carlos Aguiar, who serves as Head de Originação. The firm leans on the combined network and sector relationships the founders built during their decade together at Actis, a global emerging-markets private equity platform, and across more than 50 years of combined experience in Brazilian business. The team targets sectors where their personal relationships and track record can surface proprietary or lightly intermediated opportunities.

Noon's three founders — Patrick Ledoux, Carlos Aguiar and Nelson Bechara — worked together at Actis from 2012 managing the firm's private equity investments. They left Actis to establish Noon as an independent growth-equity platform in January 2021. There is no disclosed ongoing economic, branding or capital relationship between Noon and Actis.

Noon has not publicly disclosed its capital base, fund structure or limited partners. The firm is structured as an independent asset manager, not a single-family office, but it has not confirmed whether it has raised a commingled fund, manages separate accounts, or invests a pool of the founders' own capital alongside external investors.

The firm's stated focus covers financial services, agribusiness, education and consumer — sectors the partners identify as having secular growth dynamics in Brazil and in which their combined operating and investment experience is deepest. No sector exclusions or negatives have been publicly articulated.

Nelson Bechara, one of the three founding partners, carries the formal title Operating Partner & Head de ESG. The firm states it believes responsible investing creates robust, resilient businesses ready to contribute to society, and that it works from risk analysis through to concrete actions inside each portfolio company. The presence of a dedicated ESG partner at the founding level signals an operational rather than compliance-driven approach.
