Additional holdings include University Towers on Friendly Drive, the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on Main Campus Drive, and a portfolio of commercial properties along Hillsborough Street. The Foundation also maintains an energy and natural resources exposure and holds a student art collection displayed in Talley Student Union and Witherspoon Student Center. Its agricultural roots are separately supported through the affiliated North Carolina Agricultural Foundation. Governance flows through a board chaired by Bentina Terry, with directors drawn from the university's extended community. The Foundation's co-investment ecosystem includes the Wolfpack Investor Network, an angel network that matches alumni with university-affiliated startups, creating a pipeline between the Foundation's stewardship mission and the venture activity surrounding the university. The Foundation is an associated entity of the University of North Carolina System and participates in the National Association of College and University Business Officers and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. The Foundation's structural differentiator is its unusually concentrated direct real estate exposure — Centennial Campus alone represents a scale of university-owned innovation district that few endowments can match.
