Oregon Community Foundation was founded in 1973 by William Swindells Sr. Lisa Mensah currently serves as President and CEO. The organization accepts contributions from individuals, families, businesses, and other entities to establish charitable funds that support causes across Oregon. The foundation allocates capital across public equities, venture capital funds, and real assets. Confirmed holdings include positions in Oregon Venture Fund, Portland Seed Fund and Elevate Capital Fund. It also maintains exposure to Craft3 through the Oregon Impact Fund. Geographic focus remains concentrated in Oregon with additional activity in national networks. OCF participates in both direct grants and limited partner commitments to early-stage and growth vehicles. The foundation employs professional investment advisors including NEPC and Mercer Advisors.
