Outgo sources factoring volume directly from carrier workflows within the DAT load board. A carrier that books a brokered load through DAT can elect Outgo’s advance inside the same interface, bypassing external factoring brokers. This embedded distribution is the core logic behind DAT’s acquisition.

DAT acquired Outgo by mid-2025, making it the in-house payments and factoring capability for the industry’s largest freight marketplace. Outgo operates as a product inside DAT rather than as an independent entity, giving it access to the carrier base that transacts on DAT’s load board.

Outgo does not make fund commitments or equity investments. It deploys balance-sheet capital solely to purchase individual freight invoices from carriers on a recourse or non-recourse basis. The product is a cash-flow tool for trucking companies, not a venture or private-equity strategy.

Outgo targets short-duration trade receivables, typically advancing payment on freight invoices that brokers settle in 30 to 60 days. It does not target equity stages, debt tenors beyond working-capital cycles, or long-term structured products.

Outgo publishes a Rate Match Guarantee and markets its factoring fees as lower than standard broker-offered rates. Exact rates are not publicly listed — they vary by customer eligibility — but the platform’s competitive posture centers on fee transparency inside the DAT marketplace.
