Eren Ozmen, SNC's President and co-owner, and Fatih Ozmen, SNC's CEO and co-owner, are the principals of Ozmen Ventures. Both have exclusively built SNC over four decades, and their investment decisions carry the weight of that operational history. The capital originates from Sierra Nevada Corporation, a privately held aerospace and defense prime contractor. Eren and Fatih Ozmen acquired SNC in the 1990s and have since expanded it into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise providing aircraft, satellite systems, and mission-critical defense electronics. The firm is a top-tier U.S. defense contractor, ranking regularly among the largest government services suppliers.

Ozmen Ventures is a separate legal entity from Sierra Nevada Corporation. It serves as the venture and private equity investment vehicle for the Ozmen family, distinct from SNC's own balance-sheet operations. While Ozmen Ventures portfolio companies may occasionally engage with SNC's defense programs, the firm operates as an independent venture investor, not a corporate venture capital arm of SNC.
